The map provided by the map maker was indefinitely more accurate than the left over maps hastily scrawled onto the Metro station walls.
Upon returning to his home station, the adventurer got hastily to work, recreating the map on another scroll of paper for prospective adventurers in the future. Seeing the adventurer as a way of continuing his legacy, the map maker thrust the map into the hands of the adventurer, telling him to share this map with all those that needed a guiding point in the Metro. His health was deteriorating, and because of his journeys, he had found himself in seclusion. Throughout his journeys he came upon a map maker who was once an architect of the Metro itself. The map on this page was found by an intrepid explorer of the Metro lines. Although many stations are far from their best condition, residents aim to make the best of the situation that they can. Pigs, Chickens, even one or two cows were co-erced to live in the Metro where they are a huge boon and trading resource to those that live in those stations. Other stations were able to errect actual enclosures for animals that they were able to bring from the surface before escaping to the Metro. Some stations have been able to build small self sufficient farms of a nutritious fungus that grew on the walls of stations turning it into a dryed substance that mimics tea. Some stations in the Metro have attempted to malleate the stations as well as they could in order to adapt to the living conditions present to their inhabitants. The safety provided by people banding together in subway stations overtime created communities that would eventually be able to go beyond simple survival. No longer used to transport people in metal trucks tracks and stations have been repurposed as paths and homes. In the current era, the Metro system has since been adapted to fit to the needs of the survivors living within its cramped corridors. Made of solid concrete foundations, the Metro was made to stand the hardships of its clientel for centuries this design philosophy would prove itself a key element to the usage of the Metro as a nuclear bunker as the weaponry of WWIII continued proved unable to penetrate the Soviet subway system. Spanning the entirety of the city, the Metro was the primary means of transport for many of the inhabitants living within and out of the city. The Metro was Moscow's largest civilian public good.
